Sorbet Vs. Sor-babe

This weekend I realized that it’s basically summer. I spent most of my Saturday and Sunday asleep/drunk/hiding at the Chateau Marmont pool. I think I had a great time. One thing I know I wasn’t happy about was all of the eating and drinking that goes on there. It’s as if some of the guests and patrons of the establishment have never heard of calorie counting. A very, very, very famous super model, who shall remain nameless, ordered sorbet 3 times in the course of one afternoon. What is this world coming to?

The worst part was that I had to witness all of her glutinous activities. So when I woke up this morning, I had my mission: Make some yummy Sor-babe.

Sor-babe is a sorbet substitute that is tasty, 0 calories, and chemical free. Here is what you’ll need:

Sor-babe

2 cups of ice (cubed)

4 sprigs of mint

1 sprig of stevia

Place the glass container of your blender in the freezer for 30 minutes. Once it has chilled, simply blend all of the ingredients until you reach a pulpy consistency.  Scoop into a sorbet dish and be sure to use one of those long sorbet spoons. It makes all the difference in the world. The best garnish for this treat is air.
