Sunday Prayers With Babe Walker

As I’ve mentioned before, in my book, my dad tends to gain his weight in his mid-section.  Obvi that is like the worst place you can gain in terms of health risk. It’s medically proven that people who have stubborn belly fat are 48.6 times (don’t quote me on this) more likely to die of a heart attack than people who have a svelte abdomen.

So let’s take a moment this weekend to pray that my dad’s idiotic trainer gets his shit together and really pushes my dad to burn the necessary calories. I can’t stand by and let him get fatter. My father has a tendency to eat foods that are white, which I do not condone, but he’s British so he just doesn’t get it.

Actually, let’s pray for all of the fat bellies around the world. They’re sick, and I hope they go away.

Or maybe we can pray for the people who don’t have enough to eat, and are starving to death. That might be a better place to start.
