Beat Babe: A Poem For Dakota Fanning

Baby Dakota

Baby Dakota.

Baby Dakota.

Where are you?

I thought we’d always be young.

I thought we’d live forever.

I thought you were a perma-child.

But then you grew up and betrayed me.

Now I have a wrinkle.

And you have a cankle.

Who made you change?

Who cursed you?

Denzel?

Tom?

Jim?

Sean?

Brittany?

I miss our youth.

LOVE YOU. MEAN IT.

I was worried for Dakota when she went through her awkward phase. I thought she’d never have that sparkle again. But she came out of it and is entering a period of chic. She’s no baby anymore, but she’s skinny, stylish and looks like she’s got a lot of problems. I support.
